Sample Some of the Best Suds in San Diego at the Del Mar Beer Fest
If you’re a fan of the suds like me you will definitely enjoy your stay here at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in sunny San Diego. As some may already know, San Diego has continued to grow as one of the largest Micro Brew Cities in the US with local breweries like Coronado, Green Flash, Gordon Bierch, Ballast Point, Port (Pizza Port), and of course Stone Brewing Company. San Diego is not only home to all these different Breweries, but several beer festivals throughout the year giving you the opportunity to try something new and revisit some favorites.
One such opportunity is the Del Mar Beer Fest will be at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Saturday, August 21st from 2-6pm. There will be over 75 different beer selections and for just $15 you can enjoy five 7oz. tasters. And as if the great beer isnt enough your admission ticket also gets entrance to the track's Weezer concert. In my book that’s not a bad evening in San Diego!
