Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is Proud to Be One of San Diego's GREEN Hotels and Meeting Facilities
The greening of Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is well underway with the latest implementation of the fifth stage of our Destination Earth program. Destination Earth is an effort developed by Destination Hotels & Resorts to aid their hotels and resorts in implementing best practices for recycling, reducing waste, and other environmentally conscious measures. Estancia La Jolla has already made inspiring progress by practicing paperless registration and billing, recycling more than 5,000lbs of glass, cardboard, and aluminum as well as converting left over cooking oil into bio-fuel.
Many times, when businesses install GREEN practices, they can only been seen behind the scenes. However, guests and meeting attendees at Estancia La Jolla can easily see our efforts - Interpure filtered water stations in place of plastic water bottles, recycling bins in every meeting space and guest room, and organic products used in all our restaurant menus! Estancia La Jolla is even in the process of earning several green certifications including Green Key and LEED. However, our true goal is to create an environment that is responsible and sustainable; one that represents our shared values for the environment and the future of our children.
