Erica Mendoza has been with Estancia La Jolla for over 4 years. Starting out as a Catering Sales Manager in 2007, Erica's eye for detail and ability to anticipate planner's needs before they even crossed their mind lead to a promotion to Senior Catering Manager in 2009. During her first year as Senior Catering Manager, Erica outstanding performance earned her the honor of Manager of the year. Her experience, creativity, and exceptional service gives her the ability to provide a unique experience for all clientele.

Erica's knowledge and creativity comes from over 8 years in the hospitality industry. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration in May 2003. Once graduated, Erica immediately fulfilled an internship at the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau assisting with leisure and general sales. Erica quickly fell in love with event planning and landed a Catering Assistant position at the Catamaran Resort San Diego in the fall of 2003. Erica then served as the Sales Catering Manager at the Bahia for over 3 years before coming to Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. Over the years Erica has assisted in facilitating a wide range of events from a high profile celebrity nuptial, to an extravagantly themed bar mitzvah reception, and even highly technical banquet for political candidates.
