June gloom finally got the memo with wedding season at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa already well underway! Voted Top 10 Wedding Venue by San Diego Union Tribune, Estancia La Jolla has already been host to over 10 weddings this summer.
With the busiest months of San Diego wedding season still ahead we asked our Expert Wedding Planners for some tips on the top Wedding Trends.
Trend #1: Vibrant Color. Many Brides have a vision of their wedding dressed with their favorite colors like fuchsia or turquoise which works perfectly with neutral colors like cream, champagne and white as accents. Estancia La Jolla is the perfect partner for this trend. Estancia features a natural ranchero setting with a neutral color palette as its backdrop.
Trend #2: (Well, a lack of trend really) Unique Reception Room Set-Up. There really isn’t a traditional way to set a wedding event. That being said, if there’s no right way, then there’s no wrong way either, leaving a lot room for unique and creative event design. For example, some couples choose to sit alone at a sweetheart table to enjoy some alone time, while being more accessible for their guests to come up and wish them well. Others opt for more of a family style approach, seating themselves, the bridal party and their guests at one table.
Trend #3: Cool Treats. Have you noticed all of the new help-your-self frozen yogurt boutiques popping up all over town? Well, the popularity is transcendent. Showcasing a fro-yo bar for wedding guests to enjoy has literally ended our last few wedding events with a cherry on top!
